Our Story

The idea for Open Road was sparked in late 2014. Henry realized there was a severe lack of shipping options for small and midsize businesses. The resources in place were simply not designed for B2B mid-mile trucking. His experience working with construction companies and contracting firms from 2010 onward involved constant delivery delays for equipment and materials—delays that ultimately cost those businesses money as well as time. 

The realization that technology could stop-gap the issue and connect shippers with various companies was only half the problem. Finding a solution for the drivers and trucks was another vital piece of the puzzle. Over the ensuing years, the idea slowly came to fruition. 

It centered on the most popular vehicle sold in America every year: the Ford F150. 

With around 1 million trucks produced annually, the market could create a sustainable, expedient delivery system for those less-than-truckload shipments and prevent project delays. Our solution, Open Road, works in a world where Timing is Everything.

Our Leadership Team

Our leadership team has varied backgrounds and a shared focus on technology. In our founder’s prior careers, work languished as a result of the poor delivery and shipping support for smaller businesses working on large projects. We believe that our practical, modern technology is the answer.

Henry Ebarb

An experienced start up executive with several businesses achieving explosive growth and profitability. Henry has worked with Fortune 500s, and received an MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management.

Steven Kreschollek

Steven has spent the last 15 years building, architecting, and managing applications built on the web and mobile, from small businesses to Fortune 500 companies.

Prior to joining Open Road, Jason was a serial entrepreneur who successfully sold his last two businesses with multi-million dollar exits. He has been recognized by the Wall Street Journal as a top performing executive for his ability to adapt to changing markets and drive sales. Jason’s strength in understanding user needs and delivering a great product led to him building an app that reached over 20 million users.

Our head office in central Arizona reflects our mission to connect the dots between urban, rural, and suburban supply chains. 

We’re building a different kind of tech company—one that’s rooted in our community and others like it. We're knowledgeable about the real-life problems we are here to solve. 

Nestled at an elevation of 5,200 feet above sea level, and about an hour and a half drive from Phoenix, Prescott, AZ is closely connected to expanding suburban and still-rural communities.
